Product Description

Bee Propolis Cream

Propolis is a mixture of various amounts of beeswax and resins collected by the honeybees from plants, particularly from flowers and leaf buds. Since it is difficult to observe bees on their foraging trips the exact sources of the resins are usually not known.

Bees have been observed scraping the protective resins of flower and leaf buds with their mandibles and then carrying them to the hive like pollen pellets on their hind legs. It can be assumed that in the process of collecting and modelling the resins, they are mixed with some saliva and other secretions of the bees as well as with wax.

Please note our propolis is from the apis trigona specie of bees. Utmost care is undertaken to ensure that no bees were harmed while harvesting the propolis. Harvesting the propolis is one important activity in beekeeping to ensure there is enough room for the food and the brood.

Propolis is derived from the Greek word, "PRO" meaning "in defense" and "POLIS" meaning "city". It is descriptive of the protection propolis provides the bee hive. It is a dark sticky substance which the bees collect and use because of its antibacterial and antiviral properties. In addition, it has antifungal properties that help inhibit infections. Propolis contains 21 different flavonoids and antioxidants to help control free radicals.

It is high in B-complex vitamins and contains vitamins C, E, and provitamin A. It is rich in amino acids, fats and minerals such as zinc, manganese, copper and iron.

This healed my rashes from jellyfish sting and help lighten it a bit. Also tried this on my cockroach bite that was itchy for days. I don't know that there is a magic cream like this that can be used just on about any skin issue. I also use this as my night moisturizer and it did help my pimples from getting worse. This is the only cream that never left my purse/bag wherever I left the house. I don't think I'll ever stop buying this cream. PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE THIS ONE, MILEA!

  8. great for my skin allergies! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Sep 2014

This is the only one that soothes my skin whenever i have skin allergies. I always get itchy allergies since my teen years, either from wearing fancy jewelries, or from the sweating and rubbing of my eyeglass to my skin during summer season, back then i really dont know what to do, i even tried those anti-itch ointment but the allergies are still there. I even have flaky itchy brows :(

When I found milea, I tried first the lemongrass toner, the itchy feeling fades after i continually use it. Then I decided to buy bees propolis cream, as it states it can help heals skin rashes. It works really great! These two combos are perfect for me! ^_^ now i rarely have skin rashes on my face
